Hi -

Well, as Spring comes in, all the crazy weather seems to be subsiding -- give or take a global disaster or two. Weird times. First Haiti, now Chile... It's beyond my comprehension, but here's to chipping in however we can. To that end, I've been invited to take part in a cool Haiti benefit. Chuck from Hot Water Music, Chris from Foo Fighters, and lotsa other cool folks will be on the show as well. Come see some good rockin and help out while you're doing it. It's always a good thing when playing our weird ideas can do something tangible for folks that need it. Speaking of LA, just played another really fun show at the Hotel Cafe. Like the last one, this one was preerved well, including the post-show parking garage invasion even. Oh yea, the few of you waiting on your 12" vinyl splits with Frank Turner, a new batch is on its way, so you'll see and hear 'em soon.

Spring shows are piling up nicely, info below and always at (http://jonahmatranga.com/shows). Gettin ready for another fun, breathless SXSW in a couple weeks. Then, the first SF show in a while. Also, the June run through the UK and Germany is pretty well set. Of course, as I write, more ideas are already unfolding for various other parts of the US and the rest of the world. I'm not playing as much lately, staying home more to work on way too many (fun) things. One thing I'm noticing is that, because they're less frequent, the shows are that much more fun. Here's to appreciating what we've got while we've got it.
