One side is a sludgy beast called Departure 
Jake de Minus The Bear plays some great guitar 
Ian de Houston and lots more slays the live drums 
Jeremy puts it all together perfectly 
It’s a pretty epic freakout 
And a weird love letter to the world I want 
The other track is a dizzying take on 
A very 2020 song called Hell of a Year 
Produced by my dear Sacto buddy Dana 
With a heavenly guest harmony hook by Ski 

It'll be sold sliding-scale on the site starting Tuesday 
I’ll say hi again before then with details 
PSONGS and IDEAS rockers get the music free 
Some of you get the 7” free as well 
I’ll send that info via those ways 

I would love love love it if a bunch of you got it 
Any money made is going to people working hard 
To pretty literally save our country/world 
Focusing on close races 
Supporting poll workers 
Protecting the results if it comes to that 
Anyway

As for the PSONGS album 
It’s dangerously close to done 
And seriously 
It sounds SO SO SO GOOD 
Jeremy and Norman have put so much into it 
So many badass friends played stuff on it 
The album is kind of about 
Me learning to trust people 
Making it has been about that too 
Pretty perfect 

We’ll still have a while to wait 
For the vinyl to get pressed & shipped & all 
And I’m gonna take my time putting it up 
On the streaming and social networks 

You’ll all be the first to know 
When the music is ready to hear 
Hi-fi online listening parties and such 
I’m excited to just have it be for us 
For a while
