Lyrics

FULL OF WONDER

If all the people suddenly vanished, there'd be very few fires. Okay, volcanoes, lightning, sun and dry grass, but mosty it's us. No other animal on earth in space on purpose starts fires. Tell me again, how does that make us the best?

Full of wonder, full of wonder, full of wonder, full

There's something about the Pacific that undoes my breath. It's playful and massive. It's birth, and it's sex, and it's death. I'm good about flying, but put me in water so deep it turns black and I'm six, floating away from my dad in the Atlantic.

Full of wonder, full of wonder, full of wonder, full

Every generation has a story about how the world ends. I don't think that's gonna happen, or even that we'll do ourselves in, leaving only roaches and buildings and island of trash. Those stories sound good to feel bad, but I think it's more complex than that.

I don't think that aliens made us or gave us our gadgets. I don't think we're gonna explode in 2012. I don't know what happens next, but I don't think it's the Rapture. I think Hell and his big sister Heaven are here forever now.

Full of wonder, full of wonder, full of wonder, full
